Ein Kit in Studioqualität hat ein paar Gigabyte pro Instrument, ist also vollkommen indiskutabel. Mal ganz abgesehen davon, dass man die benötigten 60 Kits nichtmal auf einer Dual-Layer Blu-ray unterbekommen würde, geschweige denn auf einer DVD.
Ich vermute aber mal, dass Du nicht von einem hochwertigen MIDI-Kit sprichst, sondern von einer Mehrspuraufnahme. Dann rechne mal: 60 Stücke mit je sechs Spuren und 60 Instrumente. Ich kann nur vermuten, dass die Instumente in Gruppen geordnet sind, also etwa zehn Instrumente für jede Spur zur Auswahl stehen. Dann bräuchte man also 60 x 6 x 10 Spuren (vielleicht sind's aber sogar tatsächlich 60 x 6 x 60). Rechnen wir 3:30 pro Lied und nehmen an, dass die Spuren 16bit, 48kHz, Stereo sind, kommen wir zu folgender Gleichung:
60 * 6 * 10 * 16 * 48000 * 2 * 210 / 8 = 145152000000B
Das sind 135.2GB! Könnte man jetzt natürlich mit einigem Qualitätsverlust 10:1 komprimieren, und wäre trotzdem noch bei 13.5GB - passt nicht mehr auf eine DVD. Und jetzt kannst Du noch immer nicht die einzelnen Noten variieren (auslassen, Pitch/ Volume/ Velocity/ Offset ändern etc).

Bin ganz zufrieden, hätten allerdings allgemein mehr sein können.
Diese Feature möchte ich auch mal in einem Vollpreis Nintendospiel sehen. Bei manchen von diesen geht nämlich der Inhalt ziemlich schnell aus ^^
